With the challenges many have faced this past year, we have seen a rise in demand for our baby boxes, as well as being announced the winner of Prestige Award’s ‘Baby Product Retailer of the Year’ for London & the South East. After talking to us the judges explained they were “impressed with the team’s personal touch, passion and positivity.”
The Prestige Awards were launched over 10 years ago to celebrate the important work of small and independent businesses. The team involved thoroughly research the market to identify places worldwide with a vibrant SME community and independent scene. Once each destination has been carefully selected, Prestige readers are then invited to nominate businesses that have proven to be the best in their market over the past 12 months. These are shortlisted and the individual companies asked to support their nomination with ‘evidence of their work, positive feedback from their clients, information on previous accreditation and recognition as well as highlighting the most outstanding parts of their businesses.’
The judging panel review each business individually, looking at product quality, customer service, innovation, value, ethics/sustainability, as well as consistency in performance. The winners are selected as those who can best demonstrate their strengths in these areas.
When announcing that British Baby Box had won Baby Product Retailer of the Year, the judging team commented that “it’s extra special to know the hard work is paying off during this difficult time and I hope this achievement brings more success in 2021,” displaying just how much it means to have a successful business in our current climate.

We were delighted with the win and know that this award will enable us to help more babies have the best start in life.
